Cabinet Colors

White cabinets are a classic look that have been used successfully in many kitchen remodels. However, current trends are gradually starting to see requests for darker colors. all-white kitchen expect to see islands in a variety of different paint colors or wood stain colors. The mixing of finishes create a needed accent piece and additional pops-of-color for the brave of heart.

Dark kitchen cabinets get a fair share of wear and tear, yet not showing it as much as others. Darker cabinets, are able to survive distress and stains, where lighter cabinets have a tendency to show more aging. Therefore, dark surfaces can be more forgiving making scratches and stains less apparent. 

Another benefit to darker cabinets is that they contrast nicely with lighter colored countertops, making for an interesting composition specially. Dark gray cabinets are nice and functional, allowing versatility.
